1st day 'on the job'

Normally I'd wake up and kind of fall back to sleep again. Actually I kind of did today as well, so thats nothing different.

I was meant to start work at 10:30. I got there on time of course, and I even bought a paper to read on the bus. I kind of miss reading the paper. Theres lots of interesting stuff that I normally miss on the internet version. Also, there are the puzzles. Somebody remind me to bring a pen next time.

Work itself was good though. After doing quite a few boo boos on the first few apps, I managed to get myself into gear. The supervisor seemed particularly impressed. I'm not sure whether is was genuine or just because she wanted to encourage me, but either is good I suppose. Didn't get any particularly difficult customers either, which was also good.

The weather, on the other hand, was confusing. Last night the forecast said 33 degrees. So I just wore a shirt in the morning. Went outside, cold. The bus had the air con on too high as well, so the bus was cold too. At lunch (around 2ish) it was really hot, and when I finished work, it was raining! So I had to walk in the rain, wait in the rain, then wait in the rain some more, with only a shirt on. *sigh* Remind me to check the weather report a bit more thoroughly as well.

Thats about it. Nothing earthshattering today.
