I was feeling really tired at around 12:30 last night, so I thought I'd call it an early night. But when I got into bed, I couldn't sleep. In the end, I read the rest of the Da Vinci code until about 4 in the morning. Its actually quite good. I couldn't stop reading the last 10 or so chapters. It really keeps you wanting more. That Dan Brown guy is a genius.
Got up at 3:30 today. I got woken up by my phone alarm. Lucky I set it, it was supposed to be set just in case I forgot to go to basketball. I was supposed to be at 4.
I'm not really confident with basketball. I haven't played for ages... like.. not properly. I'm always the one at the back, making the occasional steal. Can't dribble, can't fake. I can shoot, barely. Nevertheless, I had fun. It makes me think of primary school, where I was pretty much the crappest in our little group of friends. I could only do bucket shots, those ones where u get both ur hands below your legs and launch the ball into the air with all your strength. Ah... and the times where I'm the last one to get selected into sports teams, and then when I get made captain because the teacher feels sorry for me, people sigh and moan when I pick them first. I can still remember their voices... Little kids can be so mean.
Must be where my lack of 'will to win' comes from. Since I was so shit at sport as a little kid (and still am), I kind of gave up. When I play, I seriously just play for fun. Mmm.. just a thought: I think also my will to actually do something with my life also comes from there. If I don't have a will to win, I don't need to be the best at anything, so I don't think I have to achieve something with my life. I just take it as I go.
Came back to find that I didn't really have any dinner to eat. So I made myself some instant noodles, chucked some tuna in, and voila! Too bad it tasted like crap :(
I'm really struggling to find things to do on the computer now. I end up visiting the same sites over and over again, not finding much new. I've even run out of stuff to download. So instead, I watched 'House of Flying Daggers' which I managed to leech off Eric the other day. It was pretty good. Lots of cool martial arts fighting, funky knife throwing, and other related things. I thoroughly recommend it.
