Yesterday, I didn't really do much. There was a little bit of errand running, being social, and catching up with past nannies.
I woke up early because I was meant to take Fi to work. Got that down pat, and bought some Telfast for mum. The fact that it was the wrong kind of Telfast never crossed my mind. I thought it was only for hayfever, and that one tablet would cure all the symptoms.
So anyway, came back to the restaurant, said hello and stuff to Erma, who looked after me from the age of about 6 months until I was about 2. She still seems lovely for a German lady. Seems to have no place on her body without operation scars, which is kind of scary.
Time for some more errands.
Filled up the air in the van's tyres, carried the roast pork buns downstairs, took packaged roast pork buns to the grocery in Doncaster, deposited some cheques, changed some cash into coins, changed the packet of Telfast, bought some milk, picked up Fi. It probably wasn't all in that order, and some items kind of overlapped or were done simutaneously, but it sounds like a lot now that I think about it.
I felt really sleepy by about 8, so I took a nap. Ended up waking up to a phone call at around 10. Since it was Terence's birthday, we bummed at his house. Sure, not the best way to spend your birthday, but its his fault for not organising anything. He did, in actual fact, organise something, but he's neither shouting nor formally inviting people to it. Its actually tonight, and I can't make it since I'm working, but oh well. I really couldn't be bothered going all the way to Crown anyway.
After getting back from Terences at about 1. I couldn't sleep no more. So I went with dad to the market without any sleep, and helped him do the stuff that he does. Then I dropped by Auntie and Uncle's place to grab some free breakfast/lunch. Big breakfast asian style. Not bad at all.
Did you know that Myer doesn't actually stock any sporting equipment anymore? I went down there to buy some tennis balls. Guess what? Nothing. All they have is sporting apparel. What a waste of my time. I just bought a couple of t-shirts.
Ended up getting tennis balls at rebel sport. I'm not sure if they jibbed me or not, but oh well. Went up to uni to play some tennis with Chi, Eric, Nancy and Sam. FUN. Haven't played in a while, yet I can still sometimes hit the ball. Not a bad effort.
After that, Eric and I went to check out Chi's new crib. Not bad at all. Had the idea to get parking permits from him since its so close to uni. I wonder how many he can get :) Anyway, back home now, getting ready for work.
