So its the night before an exam... and I'm going to blog.
Two things happened today. I went to work, and mum got back from China. At the moment, my house smells like Chinese firewater. I think I'll get drunk just from smelling too much of it.
The other night, a few of us (Mr. Soh, The Agemiester, Olga and I) made a trip to maccas. I don't really know why the others went, but I was DAMN hungry. Anyway, since maccas is such a happening place, we spent almost two whole hours there talking about stuff. Maccas is da new joint! Its newly renovated and everything! Screw PP.
So anyway, we're talking about this girl who doesn't like people (and somehow has a boyfriend) and plays netball. This, in addition to the fact that she's been to Mongolia and that she watches documentaries on World War 2, makes her a very interesting person. Somehow more interesting than any other person some people have met, which isn't that big a thing. I know I've never met anyone who's been to Mongolia, nor anyone who willing watches documentaries about World Wars besides my grandpa and I. At least not that I know about. Maybe I'm specialising in knowing certain types of people. Or maybe Mr. Soh should try to meet some more people, instead of blowing them off because he "can't see" due to his alchohol induced state. If you ask me, its a whole heap easier to meet and get to know people while you're drunk than when you're sober.
See previous post number one and another post about this self same topic.
Randoms are GOOOOOD - Sometimes.

Lolz. Agreed Ez. Meeting ppl while drunk is the easy part. Remembering them after is usually the problem.
Phoar, I can't believe I missed that first post, I read the second part, but not the first part (or at least I can't remember reading it).
But your exactly right. I think I'm bored because I always meet people that come from the same background as me (asian, professional parents, pretty decently well off). And I know it's totally my fault, because I don't make enough of an effort to get to know ppl of different backgrounds, because it's uncomfortable (but I'm trying to get over that and meet more ppl now).
Oh, and about my being blind, I did talk to her, but I felt like I was being set up, so I didn't want to do anything I'd regret later. And I can meet new ppl when I'm drunk, as long as I don't feel I'm being set up. So there, that's my 'reason'.
Hmm what else. Oh, she hasn't been to mongolia yet, she's going in the winter break, and it wasn't a ww2 doc, it was a documentery on Parrots. Which just goes to show 1) that you don't listen to me really 2) that she's even more interesting than you think. :D
PS: Oh, and I sooo didn't blow her off, if I wasn't talking much it was more likely because I couldn't talk properly. :)
ALI,,,, I AM FROM MONGOLIA FRIGGIN HELL~
AND SOH, that'd make her LESS interesting b/c she HASN'T been to Mongolia yet.. although that parrot documentary is kinda weird thing to watch..
yeah SCREW PP!
Apparently my ancestry is from Mongolia too.
Plus, I watch documentaries on parasites too.
I used to watch those world war docos on ABC about the German Enigma and U-boats man. They were cool. Well the gadgets were cool, not the Germans.
PP was never hip. Not for me. It was just another place where you could go and pay $10 to sit and talk with your friends and sip over-priced drinks as opposed to doing the same thing at home on the telephone with homemade hot chocolate for free :)
Yeah I've always liked those documentaries. Sir Richard Attenborough just has something about his voice I rekon.
In reference to PP. Yeah. Too bad I never call anyone.
yeah, we're all class. call me on my dodgy echo-y phone! from the very boring, uninteresting, "doesn't put effort into her clothing" olga. muahaahha
are you naked olga??
at least u get invited to overpriced drinks places...*sob sob*...*SOB SOB*
Awww.. its okay. I'll invite you to a ridiculously overpriced drinks place next time.
okay...but make sure you send over my chauffeur Olga to come and pick me up
p.s. ww2 stuff's interesting..
HOO-AH!
My week has been fulfilled..
You talked to her on the phone this week didn't you?
Could it have been anything less? :)
