The usual...

Things are back to normal again, kind of.

Dad rang at around 3:30 in the afternoon to ask me to come and pick him up. He seems to be pretty good now. Just gotta take some pills and go back for another consultation in a couple of weeks just to see how he's doing. So he's back at work again, refusing (as usual) to take the rest of the day off or anything like that. See what I mean about stubborn?

I had a pretty good day off as well. After submitting my assignment last night, I slept from about 1am till about 2pm. Ah it felt good. I'm not sure if it was actually any good or not though, but hopefully it will be up close to the standard that the rest of our software engineering submissions were.

Mum is still not back yet, but then we weren't really expecting her to be. I don't think she knows whats happening here yet either. We decided not to tell her since we felt that it would just make her worry unneccesarily. Its not as if she could have done anything to help while she's 2000km away. Its good to just have a holiday and not worry about anything.

Not much else to say really... All I need is a big hug.
